blogging via blackberry

My blackberry is currently my only link to the internet world. I haven't managed to call the cable company (still) and have service transferred. Some dude at the complimentary hook everything up for free place tried to tell me that I couldn't have cable at this new house. Then he tried to sell me dsl and made it sound like I was lucky that I could even get dsl at this address or else I would have to get dial up. Dial up? Does that still exist? I'm in the middle of the city and all my neighbors have cable, I am not giving up my cable box without having watched all my recorded shows. I told him I would just call time warner directly.

So yes, I was stimulated by 8 g's to buy a house. I live right down the street from Manwhore 2 who told me that I have to log in lots of bikini time out in the yard. I'm fine with that, the less clothes the better when I'm doing yardwork in 98 degree heat. (Ahhh, 98 degrees just like the band, get it? Stay out of it Nick Lachey!).

Moving on. All my stuff is in piles in the den downstairs. I hate the word "den" but I can't think of anything else to call it. "Family room" is even worse. Wood paneling room, perhaps? Basement? Or as my sister has started calling it - the dungeon?

Yeah, the wood paneling is crucial. And it is in 2 different rooms downstairs. As scary as it is in the "wood paneling room" it is even scarier in the laundry room because of the hideous yellow vinyl flooring that compliments the wood paneling so well. The rest of the house is, thankfully, wood paneling free.

I cursed my dryer out harder than I've ever cursed an object, animate or inanimate, out before. Despite my tongue lashing, I still couldn't hook up the hose correctly. My dad is coming tomorrow and between the two of us I'm sure the tapestry woven of our obscenities during the heat of battle will be marvelous.

Without cable the redbox and I have become fast friends. I've never used one before but tonight will make 3 trips to the redbox in 3 days. By the time this cable hiatus is over I will have cleaned the redbox out. I bet the grocery folks are going to start wondering about me. (On a side note the last time I went to the grocery store my least favorite clerk couldn't read my VIC card and typed the number wrong - because the card on my keychain is unscannable now - and I swear he called me Mrs. Clonazepam).

Alright, I still owe a Charleston recap but I have no access to my pictures right now so you'll have to wait a little longer.

we used to get our cable shut off a lot and when it was on I would tape (HAHAH) my favorite shows so I would have something to watch when it was out. Up here in the boonies you can't get any type of reception without cable or satelite so you watch dvds, videos, or fuzz.

oh yeah and I saw 98 degrees in concert! I love me some nick lachey!

YES you're BACK! (Sort of!) I missed reading your sillyness even though I see you all the time!!!

I LOVE the woodpaneling room and think you should get in touch with your inner-country/70's person and embrace it! Hahaha just kidding!!!

CONGRATS (again!) on being a homeowner!!!!
